About SI for this Course

Supplemental Instruction is provided online via WebEx during the period of online classes. Join my SI sessions by using this link:

Due to potential unforeseen obstacles SI Leaders may encounter as they move to online delivery, some sessions may be modified, cancelled, or suspended until in-person sessions can resume on campus.

Supplemental Instruction, or SI, is an optional and free resource offered by Iowa State to assist students in courses that are traditionally difficult. Every session will be 50 minutes and will review the material that corresponds with a specific lecture.
Organic chemistry is a class that takes a lot of practice in application for success. For this reason, the sessions will focus on understanding and application of organic chemistry concepts. I will have worksheets posted on the SI website for each session before they begin. Answers will not be posted online, but feel free to contact me with questions through the website or at sessions. I hope to meet you at one of my sessions!

There is no session today, March 23rd because there was no content on the Friday before spring break, INSTEAD I am using this day to make sure I can use webex to work how I want it to work during the scheduled SI time I have. Thanks for your patience, and make sure to read the other announcement I made about how things are going to work for the rest of the week/semester.

PLEASE READ Chem 332 Sessions this Week

Hello all, I just wanted to make an announcement about how things are going to work this next week for SI. Since the rest of the semester has been moved online, things will obviously have to be run a little different. Webex will now be used for the remainder of the SI. Sessions will work similar to how they have in the past, were "Monday's" content will be covered on Tuesday, "Wednesday's" content on Thursday, and "Friday's" content on Monday. That being said, for this week Monday will have NO SESSION since there was no content on Friday before spring break. We will START sessions Tuesday, March 24th on the content pertaining to the worksheet and video of 20-1, and it will go on and so forth. I plan on hopefully still being able to do my exam review somewhat similarly, but online obviously will come with some complications. I will probably announce a time for that, but it will most likely be very similar timing to the regular sessions for sake of simplicity. Thank you for your patience for the coming weeks, I
