About SI for this Course

SI is provided online via WebEx during the period of online classes.

Due to potential unforeseen obstacles SI Leaders may encounter as they move to online delivery, some sessions may be modified, cancelled, or suspended until in-person sessions can resume on campus.

CHEM 331 and 332 differ from other chemistry courses with their dense content and unique approach. Because of this, 332 especially can be a stumbling block for students, but it's also an opportunity to explore new ways of understanding the chemical world. My sessions will focus on looking at material in a variety of ways with an emphasis on the underlying principles where possible. I'll post notes after sessions if requested, but you'll get the most out of them if you actually attend!
I am more than willing to answer any questions messaged to me. Looking forward to seeing y'all at SI!

Announcements

A few updates

1) As we're transitioning to online sessions, I am open to any feedback on what y'all would like to see in them. Right now, the plan is to structure it fairly similarly to my exam reviews, with worksheets, going through as many problems as possible, getting occasional input, and taking questions.
2) I have shared a OneNote notebook link below, which is where I will be making and working on worksheets. The reason for this is in case some of y'all are having issues with WebEx such as a poor connection. In OneNote, y'all will be able to at least view the worksheet and my annotations if this happens. I will still be posting PDFs here as well.
3) I will be hosting an exam review session this Sunday (Mar 29) from 4:10 to 6:00 on WebEx. I'll post a blank worksheet beforehand as usual, and I'll also possibly try out some collaborative feedback such as through Kahoot! and WebEx polling. Also, note that I will be cancelling my Tuesday (Mar 31) session b
