About SI for this Course

SI is a program held outside of lecture to help students with the Econ 101 course material in a more collaborative way compared to class. There will normally be three 50-minute sessions a week focusing on the material that has been covered in lecture along with a variety of other skills that can help you succeed in this course using different forms of peer collaboration, as well as introducing different ways of thinking about microeconomics.

I will be sitting in during Dr. Cullis's 2:10pm MWF lectures, so most of the stuff that we will be doing during SI sessions is based off of the material he covers in lectures. Most of the content should be the same as the other instructors, but I am nonetheless completely willing to help you out with any questions you have, even if you are from another lecture or instructor. If you aren't in Dr. Cullis's sections, then I would recommend signing up for the email updates, since it might be harder for me to post the SI schedule in your lecture, and you can keep up to date with what we are doing more easily. If you are not from Dr. Cullis's lectures, I will try to have index cards during my sessions where you can write down the topics you want covered and I will try to have something prepared for the next time.

Any worksheets that we do during the SI sessions I will provide copies for.

If you have any other questions, please feel free to contact me through the SI website. I hope to you see you all soon!
